Executive Summary: 

The variance application was withdrawn by the applicant by correspondence dated 05-06-26 (see attached).

 

The proposed variance would allow a two-way private driveway 20ft. in width (Town

code, Sec. 12-205(A)(3)(d)1.b., requires a minimum of 25ft.).

Key Points:
  • The site is generally located west of Southwest 79th Avenue, between Southwest 24th Street and Southwest 30th Street, within an existing multifamily residential community.
  • The applicant proposes to develop the site with 2 three-story residential apartment buildings containing a total of 72 two-bedroom dwelling units.
  • By way of a separate site plan application, the landowner is proposing modifications to the site, which include removal of an existing lake and community pool and construction of two new multifamily residential buildings and a new clubhouse building. The sitework includes reconfiguration of certain vehicle access driveways and parking areas.
  • No public correspondence was received in opposition to the proposed variance.

At the April 15, 2026, Town Council meeting, Variance Application V25-122 Cameron Cove was tabled until the May 20, 2026, meeting.

At the March 4, 2026, Town Council meeting, Variance Application V25-122 Cameron Cove was tabled until the April 15, 2026, meeting.
