DOH-Broward has awarded the Town of Davie Fire Rescue funds for the continuation and support of the Co-Responder overdose post-overdose model. This model will provide harm reduction services and linkage to care, harm reduction services, and social support services for individuals involved in substance-related emergencies. The Co-Responder overdose and post-overdose model will be no cost to the Town and DOH-Broward has agreed to pay the Town of Davie Fire Rescue Department in an amount not to exceed $344,988.00 for the contract term of May 2026 through August 2028.
