Sourcewell entered into a professional services contract # 091620-GGI with The Gordian Group, Inc. to perform services related to the management of its indefinite delivery/indefinite construction contracting program for building/infrastructure repairs, alterations, and restoration services. This contract will allow the Town to request from The Gordian Group, Inc. one or more customized Unit Price Books quotes containing prices covering material, equipment and labor cost for various units of construction applicable to our geographic area and utilizing area licensed contractors. The annual estimated amount is over $65,000, and it will not exceed construction cost thresholds requiring mandatory public advertising of bids established within the Florida Statutes.

The Town Council of the Town of Davie does hereby approve the piggyback of Sourcewell contract # 091620-GGI awarded to The Gordian Group, Inc. to perform services related to the ongoing management of its indefinite delivery/indefinite construction contracting program for building/infrastructure repairs, alterations, and restoration services.

For each general construction request by the Town, The Gordian Group, Inc. will prepare one or more customized Unit Price Books quotes containing prices covering material, equipment and labor cost for various units of construction applicable to our geographic area and utilizing area licensed contractors.

This method of contracting general construction services will provide the Town with an alternative to streamline certain projects i.e. interior renovations, infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and repairs.

The Town Council hereby authorizes expenditure of funds over $65,000 per year in accordance with the awarded contract prices, on an as-needed basis. Funding will come from approved accounts, dependent on usage and within established budgets.

The contract term is effective through 10/1/2027, with the option for additional renewals upon mutual consent. Contract renewals, extensions, termination, and amendments/modifications will be handled administratively.
