QUITCLAIM - A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF DAVIE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AUTHORIZING THE DAVIE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BOARD CHAIR TO QUITCLAIM PROPERTIES FROM THE TOWN OF DAVIE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY TO THE TOWN OF DAVIE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Title of Agenda Item:QUITCLAIM OF CRA PROPERTIES 
Executive Summary: 

The Town of Davie has applied and is a candidate for funding through the Complete Streets and other localized Initiatives Program (CSLIP) to implement safety and sidewalk network improvements along Orange Drive from SW 62 Avenue to SW 92 Avenue.  The proposed sidewalk improvements along Orange Drive traverse across the frontages of three Town of Davie Community Redevelopment Agency vacant parcels known as 6507, 6501, and 6453 Orange Drive.  As part of the grant program requirements, the Town of Davie Community Redevelopment Agency has been requested to quitclaim that portion of the parcels which being more particular described in the attached Exhibit "A" to accommodate the sidewalk installations.  

 

The Town of Davie Community Redevelopment Agency deems it to be in the best interest of the Town of Davie Community Redevelopment Agency to Quitclaim the properties to the Town of Davie.
